About the role
Winpak Division is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Customer Pricing and Quotation Team based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting our marketing and costing teams. You’ll dive into margin, sales, and cost analysis, assist with creating quotations, and ensure the accuracy of internal, external, and system price lists. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your analytical skills while contributing to the strategic success of our marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of Quotes
- Review quotes including the verification of costs utilizing indented Bill-of-Material and assigning of gross margins.
- Prepare quotes, together with Sales Coordinators and Sales Representatives, requiring competitive pricing to ensure the integrity of the company’s profitability is maintained.
- Manage the process of preparing corporate quotes including preparing timelines for when information needs to be completed.
Costing
- Collaborate on and manage projects relating to costing, quoting and analysis of market activities.
- Work with other departments within the organization to make improvements in the manufacturing process as it relates to costing of product.
- Contribute to maintenance of internal and external price lists.
Reporting & Analysis
- Review of daily Gross Margin reports.
- Experience with SQL Engines, Cognos, Power BI preferred.
- Create ad hoc sales reports and analysis.
Quality
- Contribute to the maintenance of ISO documents and procedures
- Support of Winpak’s Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner compliant with ISO 9001 and SQF 2000 standards.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company.
Required Qualification
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years of experience communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization including senior and executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience utilizing analytical tools and software to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly
- 3+ years of experience working with managerial accounting principles, including cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Power BI and Outlook)
- 3+ years of utilizing Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including performing tasks such as data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and reporting
- 3+ years of experience using problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think critically and innovatively to develop effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or similar industry
- 3+ years of experience preparing and reviewing quotes
- 3+ years of experience with managing large amounts of data
- 3+ years of experience working in a role that had tight deadlines, and required a high level of time management and organization

- This is a full-time permanent position & the selected candidate will work 100% onsite
- The position is located at 100 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3T3
