RESPONSIBILITIES

Room Attendant

• Strip vacant guest rooms of bedding, towels, garbage etc.
• Clean guest rooms as allocated achieving standards of cleanliness, presentation and timing.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests’ belongings upon entering/leaving an occupied room.
• Carry out deep cleaning duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Replenish room supplies including toiletries as required per room type.
• Replenish linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Inspect inventory and condition of all room furnishings, draperies, hotel provided kitchen housewares and supplies including, coffee makers, dishes, cutlery, etc.

House Attendant

• Strip vacant guest rooms of bedding, towels, garbage etc.
• Clean and maintain meeting spaces, pool area, BBQ’s, ice machine areas, and back of house areas.
• Ensure all storage rooms, supplies and equipment are kept stocked and in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintain and organize the pool area (during summer season only).
• Complete rug, carpet and upholstered furniture cleaning as required.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Ensure all laundry is safely collected and prepared for either onsite or offsite laundry.
• Process laundry using the onsite equipment including, loading, unloading and folding.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.

REQUIREMENTS

• Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize.
• Possess a keen eye for detail.
• Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use.
• Flexible, efficient and punctual.
• Able to work independently, or team environment.
• Perform the duties of the House Attendant or Public Spaces Attendant as required.
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended periods of time.
• Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Wage: $21.20per hour plus summer incentive bonus.

Job Type: Seasonal (ending October 31st, 2026)

Schedule: Full Time, Part Time - including weekends, holidays and evenings.
