About this opportunity
CBI Health is seeking a professional with strong leadership skills to fill the role of Manager of Clinical Services. A unique role to our interdisciplinary settings, the Manager of Clinical Services leads a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, and Psychologists in their clinical practice and skills development. This position is accountable for creating an environment that exemplifies CBI Health values, effectively coaching, mentoring and engaging clinical staff while fostering relationships in the community that result in Talent Retention, Clinical Excellence, Stakeholder Engagement and associated business outcomes.
As Manager of Clinical Services you will call upon your leadership and problem-solving skills to provide overall clinical and leadership expertise. With direct responsibility for supervising, guiding/coaching and organizing care for clients, your focus will be on achieving the best possible outcomes. In addition to your leadership responsibilities you will provide access to care through your own service provision. As a therapist, you’ll have all the tools and resources you need to grow your practice and develop your skills. Working with our talented interdisciplinary team, you will treat clients with acute and complex needs.

- Ensure the delivery of clinical practice, business development and leading people
- Promote and facilitate communication to assist in the care and rehabilitation process
- Excite and build upon a vision in leading and developing a clinical team in collaboration with leadership network
- Lead and inspire others, develop and retain talent, mentor and lead by example
- Utilize a strong clinical practice with excellent client outcomes
- Work closely with the leadership and clinical teams to identify opportunities, create and execute action plans. Engage with the community, physicians and funders (WSNB, Auto insurance, adjusters and LTD)
- Develop and nurture local relationships with stakeholders and organizations that refer clients to CBI Health
- Anticipate what stakeholders want and manage expectations
- Provide clinic input into business decisions, service delivery model and developmental opportunities
- Ensure that service delivered aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure staffing requirements meet demand levels
- Align clinic goals and develop action plans that align to CBI Health strategic objectives , identifying business metrics to meet and exceed CBI Health vision and values
- Organize resources to solve problems and make the appropriate decisions as an independent and as a team player
- Ensure best practices are met and adherence to guidelines and contractual agreements is established with clinical team members
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- Have a Bachelors or Masters of Science in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Kinesiology
- 2 - 3 years experience in a private and/or rehabilitation clinic
- Be results-oriented, adaptable, well organized and able to function independently
- Possess sound written and verbal communication and multi-tasking skills
- Be able to provide employee development and coaching
- Be willing to further your skills through additional training
- All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
