Position Summary The Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting, is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for the Corporate Business Unit and Wisp entities. This role partners with business stakeholders and shared services teams to support month-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting under IFRS, and maintain strong balance sheet integrity. The position manages complex journal entries, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations, shared services allocations, and supports intercompany accounting activities as required.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for all Corporate BU accounting and Wisp accounting.
- Partnering with the business to understand their finance/accounting requirements
- Book all monthly journal entries related to IFRS 16, accretions, fixed assets, SBC, accruals etc.
- Work closely with Payroll team in reconciliation of all payroll accounts
- Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts every month and recommend write offs when required
- Manage Shared Services allocation process and true up.
- Map and upload all Trial Balances from subs, and communicate when there are issues
- Cross train with Intercompany Accountant and backfill when necessary
You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment
- Strong month-end close experience, including complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience working with payroll, shared services allocations, and subsidiary trial balances
- Exposure to intercompany accounting and cross-functional collaboration
- CPA designation required or in progress
The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
