We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanic/Technician (310T) to service ourfleet in Aurora and Markham, ON.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday from 7am-3:30pm;
- Flex-time and occasional overtime availability on weekends or week nights as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including light and medium duty trucks, vans, and specialty service vehicles and equipment;
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address mechanical issues as per the Ministry of Transportation guidelines;
- Diagnose and resolve engine, transmission, brake, suspension, tire, and electrical systems issues;
- Estimate time and material costs of fleet/vehicle repairs;
- Initiate service calls for emergency breakdowns as required;
- Track, document, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair services performed;
- Coordinate with the Fleet Manager to ensure timely servicing of all vehicles;
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in vehicle technology and maintenance practices;
- Ensure compliance with Ontario health & safety standards, including company and organizational policies;
- Communicate with the Fleet Manager for approval of material purchases as required;
- Conduct off-site service calls as required for fleet maintenance and repair needs;
- Perform physically demanding tasks including but not limited to: lifting up to 50lbs, pushing, pulling, carrying, prolonged standing/walking, tool and equipment usage;
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A valid 310T license is required;
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the heavy truck/equipment industry as a licensed mechanic;
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of automotive and technical systems;
- Proficiency with hand/electric tools and equipment related to vehicle maintenance;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience in Microsoft Office/Google Docs;
- Possess a valid Ontario G driver’s license (with a clean driving record);
- Ability to commute to Prescott, ON for work.
