Dual Cage Supervisor (Bilingual ENG/FR) - CNB (PT)

Position Summary
Under the direction of Cage & Count Manager, this position is responsible for distributing, verifying and reconciling floats, completing large cash transactions and overseeing Cashiers on a shift basis. Cage Supervisor contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all coworkers. Must respect and adhere to all policies and procedures, regulations and Internal Controls. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino New Brunswick’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
Key Accountabilities

Monitoring the Cage team; providing input for team members performance evaluation and objective
-
Responsible for completion and monitoring of audits relating to LCT, PGF, SOF, RM, Cheques, supporting documentations and other forms as required.

Preparing the Cage for opening and closing; distributing, verifying and reconciling Cashier floats

Verifying or completing large transactions
-
Documenting and reconciling cash and cash equivalents; providing reports

Participating in Cage corporate training; assisting in conducting site training

Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities

Responding to, resolving or escalating cage issues

Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments

Building strong working relationships with our internal and external guests

Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualification Requirements
-
High School Diploma; Post Secondary education an asset
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume cash handling

Supervisor experience is an asset
-
Slots or Table Game experience is an asset
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Bilingualism (Fr/Eng) is an asset
-
Must be at least 19 years of age or older
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick).
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular back-office environment, fast paced with multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables; requires extended period of standing, walking, bending and may lift up to 35 lbs.
The role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to business needs, and will have non-traditional work hours including holidays, evening, overnight or weekend shifts.
NOTE : This is a DUAL leadership role within the Cage Department. Responding to the business, the Dual Cage Supervisor will split their time between Supervisory and Regular Cage Cashier duties.
