Duties
Individuals are required to
- Proctor tests/exams for students writing in the SAS Test Centre according to established procedures
- Ensure appropriate student accommodations are provided while maintaining test/exam integrity and adhering to University policies
- Assist in providing specialized test/exam accommodations including, but not limited to: test/exam reader or scribe
- Attend specialized training and communicate regularly with the supervisor; and
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
Advanced skills and judgment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to react appropriately in a crisis
- Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, punctual, organized and self-motivated
- Superior communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours that correspond to the SAS Test Centre needs, including evenings and weekends
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and two years of coursework at the post-secondary level is required
