Guidewire Technical Team Lead (Tech Lead)
About the role
CGI is seeking a Technical Lead with Guidewire experience to join a project team for one of our clients in the insurance sector.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering Guidewire software solutions, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and application support, ensuring alignment with IT strategies and compliance with corporate standards;
- Define and enforce best practices in development and architecture;
- Mentor development team members on technical and methodological aspects;
- Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to successfully deliver the project;
- Optimize system performance and reliability through continuous improvement of processes and applications;
- Play a strategic role by ensuring the solution aligns with business needs and technology standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including 6 years in a similar role;

Strong proficiency with Guidewire Cloud products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter;

Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and AWS;
-
Major asset: GW ACE (Mammoth) certification;
-
Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000–$135,000. This role is an existing vacancy / a future opportunity.
