The Role
Reporting to the aviation manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing Cameco’s daily travel and flight operations for our northern Saskatchewan operations.
In this role, you will:
- collaborate with corporate and site-based personnel, including flight clerks and administration supervisors, to coordinate daily flight scheduling for employee movements to and from our northern operations.
- supervise a small team of aviation professionals and oversee team management, on-call scheduling, daily travel coordination, and flight desk operations using the Nomadis logistics platform.
- coordination of related logistics during irregular operations.
- enter and track information using Cameco’s incident reporting system for aviation-related events..
- identify, communicate, and address process improvement opportunities and issues in collaboration with other departments.
- ensure aviation logistics decisions align with the current aviation contracts.
- travel to Cameco operations and communities in northern Saskatchewan as required.
Required:
- diploma in supply chain management or another aviation-related program;
- minimum of eight years of relevant working experience;
- minimum of five years supervisory experience;
- excellent communication and organizational skills; and
- Class 5 driver’s license.
Recommended:

previous experience supporting travel logistics for fly-in-fly-out operations;
-
experience using Nomadis logistics platform; and
-
experience using SAP S/4 HANA.
Conditions of Employment:
- Class 5 driver’s license.
