Job Description Are you a data-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment and can operate with ownership and strategic impact? Client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in advancing enterprise data quality, supporting regulatory and strategic initiatives, and driving scalable data solutions across the Party & Account Master platform. The Global Operations and Business Services team is a diverse and dynamic group delivering continued business success through leadership, collaboration, innovation, and forward-thinking. The Data Strategy team is accountable for executing and delivering data objectives against key strategic and regulatory initiatives, providing a comprehensive, accurate, and consistent view of Legal Entities. This is a long-term contract with extension and conversion possibilities, offering exposure to cutting-edge data platforms, capital markets domain expertise, and the opportunity to make a real strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities Data Remediation & Analysis Lead complex data remediation and analysis initiatives across large, structured and unstructured datasets Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data standards Identify data quality issues and implement scalable remediation solutions Work with large-scale datasets using SQL (Dremio), Python, Databricks, and Excel Data Quality & Governance Drive data quality (DQ) improvements and control frameworks Proactively identify data risks and implement sustainable solutions Mitigate operational, regulatory, and reputational impacts Ensure alignment with governance standards and downstream data consumption needs Stakeholder Partnership & Strategy Partner with business, technology, and data stakeholders to understand requirements Influence data strategy decisions and deliver scalable data solutions Translate business requirements into actionable data logic and rules Act as SME for Party & Account data domains, supporting onboarding of new data consumers Automation & Process Optimization Design and implement automation solutions (Python, SQL, workflow tools) Improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance control effectiveness Support and lead project delivery efforts across multiple concurrent workstreams Produce insights and reporting to inform decision-making for senior stakeholders Leadership & Collaboration Foster strong working relationships across the organization Influence stakeholders and enable effective collaboration across Operations, Technology, and CDO teams Mentor and support junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Required Skillsets SQL (Dremio): Advanced - Must be able to write complex queries, perform joins, subqueries, and optimize for large datasets Python: Advanced - Must demonstrate ability to write scripts for data analysis, automation, and remediation Data Analysis & Remediation: Expert - Proven track record of identifying data quality issues and implementing scalable solutions Capital Markets / Client Data: Strong - Understanding of corporate structures, FX products, and reference data domains (Bloomberg, GLEIF) Data Governance / MDM: Strong - Experience working in data governance, data quality, or master data management environments Excel: Advanced - Strong proficiency in data manipulation, pivot tables, formulas, and macros Power BI: Intermediate - Ability to create dashboards and visualizations for stakeholder reporting Stakeholder Management: Strong - Ability to influence across multiple functions without direct authority Communication: Excellent - Must articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Problem Solving: Expert - Proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex data issues
Preferred Skillsets Databricks - Experience with Databricks platform for large-scale data processing Operations Experience - Background in financial services operations Project Management / Scrum - Experience leading initiatives with structured methodology Bloomberg Data - Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and data feeds GLEIF - Knowledge of Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation data Banking/Financial Services - Prior experience in banking or capital markets FX Products - Understanding of foreign exchange products from a system data perspective Workflow Automation - Experience with workflow tools and process optimization Mentoring - Experience supporting and developing junior team members
