About the role

We are currently seeking an Assistant Supervisor (2IC) to work with us at the West Coast Express site.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 0500 till 1300
Payrate: $26.24/hour

This position will require you to visit West Coast Express stations from Waterfront to Mission during your shift (company vehicle provided at pick up station)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Site Supervisor in the smooth running of the site and supervision of staff to include performance reviews, site scenario training, scheduling and payroll

  • Visit West Coast Express stations to work with Station Attendants and to preform any necessary duties

  • Liaise with the client on operational, customer service, security duties as required

  • Ensuring all incident/accident reports are recorded accurately and submitted to the client as they occur

  • Responsibility for gathering and providing a weekly summary of all incident reports

  • Proactively providing the client with an overview of the following weeks scheduled activity for all site personnel

  • Ensuring all shifts are covered through effective workforce planning and providing the client with a report of any anomalies to the expected schedule

  • Weekly review meeting with the client to review operational, customer service, safety/security and any other relevant site information

Your must haves:

  • BC Security License
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA1)
  • Class 5 driving license with a clean drivers abstract

You are someone with:

  • Previous Supervisory experience

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public

  • Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
