Bring your creativity and organizational skills to support student learning. Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Library Technician for Bon Accord.
Bon Accord Community School offers K-4 programming and is located approximately 20 minutes north of the City of Edmonton in the Town of Bon Accord. The school has a student population of approximately 240 students and a dedicated teaching and support staff working together as a team to provide exemplary education to all students. The school nurtures a safe and caring environment through offering various programs to encourage strong leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Organize and display library materials to ensure resources are easily accessible
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
- Manage the school website and online calendars
- Support technology use, including iPads, laptops, Chromebooks, interactive whiteboards, and other devices
- Assist with computer troubleshooting and basic technical support
What You Bring
- Library and Information Technology Diploma (or equivalent education and related experience)
- Cataloguing training
- Training with Insignia, Office Suite, GAFE, and Hapara
- First Aid certification
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to support and troubleshoot educational technology
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
