Job Information
The Custodian (Evenings/Weekends) plays a key role in keeping École Allain St-Cyr safe, clean, and welcoming for students, staff, and the community. You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy and orderly environment, performing daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring the school facilities are well cared for during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and care for classrooms, hallways, washrooms, and common areas daily.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and polish floors; clean windows, walls, and furniture.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment safely and in an orderly manner.
- Perform minor maintenance and report damages or hazards.
- Support staff by moving materials and ensuring safe access to school facilities.
Qualifications & Experience

Completion of Grade 10 and six months of related experience.

Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.

Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and flexibility.

Willingness to complete WHMIS training within three months of hire.
