About the Role

As a Claim Business Systems Analyst I, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of our Claims organization. You’ll contribute to transitioning TPA business to Direct Handle, shifting oversight to Everest Insurance® Ops, and tackling a variety of projects that require analysis, documentation, and process design. You’ll report to the AVP, Operations & Systems–Claims and work as an individual contributor within the Everest Insurance® Operations Management team.

What You’ll Do

You’ll bring a hybrid skillset to perform a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Project & Process Leadership

  • Lead projects and coordinate work streams to meet strategic goals.
  • Enhance and streamline business system processes for greater efficiency.

Analysis & Documentation

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify issues, trends, and opportunities.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings to drive decisions and collaboration.
  • Solve complex problems involving systems, data, and processes.

Process Design

  • Improve operational processes across the claims lifecycle.
  • Identify and support enhancements across the Everest Insurance® Claims platform.

System Implementation

  • Lead Claims systems projects from strategy through post-delivery.
  • Document requirements and manage technology resources.
  • Support the design and deployment of technology tools.
  • Build business process solutions using tools like Power Apps and SharePoint.

Analytical Support

  • Analyze workflows and data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Track and report on Claims Operations metrics.

Business Process Expertise

  • Develop subject matter expertise in Claims systems and processes.
  • Promote best practices and optimal system utilization.

Change Management

  • Lead change initiatives across the Claims organization.
  • Facilitate adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (business analysis, systems testing, or data analytics) preferred.
  • Experience in property and casualty insurance, Claims, or Guidewire applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GW ClaimCenter, Duck Creek, Power Apps, and SharePoint is beneficial.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 annually
