About the role
Reporting to the Manager of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Supervisor performs various tasks related to the management of the Housekeeping team using safe work methods. He/she will supervise the work of other members periodically during the shift. In addition, he/she will coordinate and plan the activities of his/her team to ensure the smooth running of the shifts.
What you will do
- Supervise the work of the team members by making regular rounds during the shifts and make corrections if necessary;
- Inspect the premises as well as the lodges and facilities to ensure compliance with the norms and standards of cleanliness in effect;
- Participate in the management of schedules and planning of shifts.
- Communicates equipment and maintenance product needs to his/her team;
- Control and ensure the planning of the inventories of his department;
- Participate in the training and integration of new employees;
- Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations;
- Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations; Ensure the application and respect of the company's policies;
- Carry out all other related tasks.
Profile required
- High School Diploma (HSD) ;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs;
- Knowledge of housekeeping techniques ;
- Experience in housekeeping supervision; an asset
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and integrate safe work procedures;
- Teamwork skills (autonomy, versatility);
- Physical fitness: ability to work many hours on your feet and ability to lift heavy loads (approximately 50 pounds);
- Ability to work in a noisy, hot and/or cold outdoor environment.
