About the role

We are currently recruiting for the position of a full-time Platoon Support Clerk. In this position you will provide administrative support to Officers and provide coverage and support for the Receptionist Clerk when required. This position involves shift work on a rotating basis which also includes weekends and holidays.

Prerequisite:

  • Must possess a Grade 12 graduation diploma or equivalent, as recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education, or completed post-secondary education at an accredited college or university as an adult student.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing.
  • Keyboarding skills.
  • Proofreading ability.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer systems including Niche RMS and CPIC.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.

Principal Tasks:

  • Provide administrative support for platoon officers and prepare documents for the Court.
  • Type occurrence reports, crown briefs, court information, search warrants, arrest warrants and other documents as directed.
  • Conduct CPIC and OMPPAC queries and make entries and modifications as directed.
  • Assist with CPIC tasks, validation and audits as required.
  • Process and prepare non-criminal Record Checks.
  • Perform the duties of “Commissioner of Oaths” in accordance with Service policies and procedures.
  • Provide coverage and support for the Receptionist Clerk when required.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,916.78 - $70,242.03.
