About the role
At SMS Equipment, safety is at the core of everything we do. We are looking for a Parts Technician to join our team in Timmins, ON. In this role, you’ll support our operations by sourcing, organizing, and managing heavy equipment parts to keep our customers running safely and efficiently.
Location: Timmins, ON
Shift: 14x14 rotation
Wage: $43.10 per hour, additional premiums may be available

Your Role
- Provide customers with accurate parts and pricing information, sourcing alternatives when OEM parts are not available.
- Maintain and manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, and stock handling.
- Complete required documentation, including invoicing, order tracking, shipping/receiving, and maintaining price lists and catalogues.
- Process CORE returns and assist with inventory counts and inspections.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure parts availability and timely service.
What You Bring
- Journeyperson Parts Technician certification preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
- Commitment to safety as a top priority.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proven customer service focus and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer skills with MS Office Suite and computerized inventory systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
