YOUR CHALLENGE

The Technical Services Coordinator plays a central role in organizing the activities of technicians, whether in the field, in the workshop, or a combination of both, depending on the territory’s needs and the number of technicians to coordinate. This role also involves providing support during colleagues’ absences or vacations, which requires to understand all the coordination aspects of the position.

When coordinating on the road, the coordinator is responsible for planning inspection and maintenance assignments in close collaboration with external customers and certified technicians, ensuring smooth and high-quality service. When coordinating in the workshop, the coordinator works alongside technicians to prepare maintenance quotes for external customers, thereby contributing to strong customer relationships and effective service follow-up.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinator on the road

  • Assist the main coordinator;
  • Prepare quotes and follow up on recurring mandates;
  • Respond to email inquiries and make initial contacts;
  • Manage billing to clients and complete the required documentation for mandates;
  • Contact person between customer service and technician on the road across Canada;
  • Plan routes and work schedules while making sure to manage unexpected events;
  • Assign routes to technicians to ensure continuous and efficient services to our customers;
  • Oversee inventory management and equipment transfers;
  • Take charge of projects and process optimization.

Coordinator in the workshop

  • Provide return authorizations to our external clients;
  • Prepare quotes for equipment transiting to our fixed workshops;
  • Request returns from certain service suppliers, create purchase orders, and follow up;
  • Manage email inquiries and other internal software systems;
  • Ensure daily follow-ups with external clients for approvals, follow-up dates, and delivery schedules;
  • Follow up with buyers and suppliers on orders for parts and/or services;
  • Keep internal software systems updated;
  • Ensure coherent and smooth workshop occupation with all technicians.

YOUR SPECIFIC MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Satisfaction level of our external and internal clients;
  • Complete mandates and maintenance assignments according to our standards and set deadlines;
  • Operational optimization and process standardization.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • DEC/AEC or equivalent;
  • Bilingualism (written and spoken);
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and administrative diligence;
  • Adaptability and problem-solving ability.
