Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000
Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.
Hours per week: 37.5
Paid leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year

TheEndpoint Systems Analystserves as a technical administrator for enterprise endpoint management platforms, supporting the management, security, and lifecycle of 6,800+ institutional endpoint devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The role contributes to backend configuration, automation, security baseline governance, and device lifecycle planning to ensure endpoint reliability, compliance, and performance.
Working under the direction of senior staff, the Endpoint Systems Analyst supports device deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and endpoint privilege management using established tools and procedures. The role collaborates closely with the Service Desk and technical teams to support effective service delivery, regulatory compliance, and accurate technical documentation, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through operational analysis and recommendations that enhance endpoint standardization, reliability, and user experience.
###How you'll contribute
Endpoint Operations & Support:
- Administer and support enterprise endpoint management platforms (Intune, SCCM, Jamf) across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- Manage endpoint configurations, patching, software deployment, and privilege access solutions.
- Package, deploy, and maintain applications and drivers, ensuring compatibility and licensing compliance.
- Monitor endpoint health and performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support escalated incidents.
- Maintain endpoint standards, documentation, reporting, and operational metrics to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Service Delivery:
- Provide technical guidance and coordination for endpoint deployments, changes, and service improvements.
- Assist with communications related to endpoint changes, outages, or maintenance activities.
- Support service transition activities by contributing to knowledge transfer, support models, and operational handoffs.
- Contribute to improving user experience by identifying and addressing recurring endpoint related pain points.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk and other IT teams to support endpoint technologies, improve support workflows, and ensure endpoint compliance with identity, networking, and security standards.
Security & Compliance:
- Support audits, security reviews, and compliance reporting by providing accurate endpoint data and documentation.
- Ensure endpoint configurations align with approved security baselines (e.g., OS hardening, encryption, antivirus/EDR settings).
- Monitor endpoint compliance and security posture, escalating risks, gaps, and recurring issues.
- Identify, assess, and remediate endpoint security vulnerabilities through patching, configuration changes, and coordinated corrective actions.
- Follow and enforce organizational IT security policies, endpoint standards, and acceptable use policies.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles for endpoint operations.
- Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve deployment, patching, reporting, and monitoring processes.
- Identify operational gaps and contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Participate in endpoint technology pilots, lifecycle planning, upgrades, and roadmap alignment.
- Contribute to change management activities and adopt best practices in modern endpoint management.
###What you bring
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience providing Tier 2 / deskside support and supporting endpoints in an enterprise or institutional environment.
- 1+ years' hands‑on experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Jamf Pro, or other MDM platforms.
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS endpoints, including application and driver packaging and deployment.
- Foundational knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint security, and device compliance concepts.
- Familiarity with testing practices, patching, software deployment, and IT service management (ITIL).
- Working knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell) to support endpoint management, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Familiarity with endpoint security controls such as conditional access, device compliance, disk encryption, and antivirus/EDR.
- Experience remediating endpoint vulnerabilities through patching, configuration changes, and policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with reporting, data analysis, or dashboarding related to endpoint compliance and health.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and shared‑space endpoint devices, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Certifications in (or working towards) Microsoft (MD‑102, MS‑102), Jamf (Jamf 100/200), CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ considered an asset.

- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work in a service-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to apply a logical and disciplined troubleshooting approach to identify, analyze, and resolve endpoint issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Security and continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow technical skills under mentorship.
