About the role
PCSS is a program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) created in response to the opioid overdose epidemic to train primary care providers in the evidence-based prevention and treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) and treatment of chronic pain. The project is geared toward primary care providers who wish to treat OUD.

About MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute
The Training Institute works tirelessly to ensure that the education provided meets the standards and competencies required for aspiring and current behavioral health professionals, to maximize the outcomes for the populations they serve.
Training Institute education courses are delivered by subject matter experts in their respected fields, and are based upon current practices and studies. Courses can be delivered in-person, on-line, and on-site. The curriculum is available in modalities that support all student needs, through instructor-led or on-demand independent learning. CEU are provided per Indiana State statute.
