Role Description This full-time Sales Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Montreal, QC, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Sales Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities within the cannabis and CBD sectors, conduct discovery calls, and present tailored merchant and banking solutions to prospective clients. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company policies. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, providing product and service training to clients, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account management. The Sales Specialist will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets, document activities in CRM tools, and stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting cannabis-related merchant services.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to present complex financial services in an accessible way. Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, managing client expectations, and resolving issues promptly. Demonstrated Sales experience, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing new business in B2B environments. Experience in Training clients or team members on products, services, and best practices related to payment processing or financial services. Background in Sales Management or team coordination, including setting goals, tracking performance, and using CRM tools. Knowledge of merchant services, payment processing, or banking products; experience in cannabis or CBD industries is an asset. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person client meetings in Montreal, QC with remote work responsibilities. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working with targets and deadlines; bilingual English/French is considered an advantage.
