Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
We are currently seeking a TRADE MARKETING MANAGER to support the Boston Beer Company portfolio. This role will be primarily focused on the Twisted Tea, Sun Cruiser, and Truly Hard Seltzer brands nationally.
This role can be based remotely within Canada or at the Moosehead Brewery in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of national trade marketing programs. To be successful in this role, the individual must be a skilled communicator who is organized, reliable, and experienced in leading and developing people. Strong project management skills are required to navigate a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, including Boston Beer Company, procurement and vendor partners, and organizations such as the NHL.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of trade marketing programs. Lead the procurement of trade marketing materials with Excello, Boston Beer Company, Central Group, and other vendors while ensuring quality standards are met. Develop and maintain national workback schedules and processes to ensure all programs are delivered on time. Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional trade marketers. Lead the development of trade marketing pitch materials and selling tools. Collaborate with external creative agencies and the in-house graphics team to brief, review, proofread, and consolidate feedback and approvals for displays, in-store signage, and point-of-sale materials. Manage the total trade marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting. Conduct regular competitive market research and gather sales insights to support trade marketing activities. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize ways of working and enhance brand performance. Lead and participate in special projects as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Post-secondary education, marketing concentration preferred. 5+ years' marketing experience, previous experience in Trade Marketing is preferred. Beverage alcohol or CPG industry experience is an asset. Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S. is an asset. Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an asset. Proficiency with PC Applications (Excel, Teams, Viva Engage, Outlook, etc.) is an asset. Proficiency with Canva is an asset. Proficiency with Project Management Tools (Workfront, Monday.com, etc.) is an asset.
