Talent Acquisition Specialist - Mental Health Services

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help support recruitment in Ontario and Western Canada for our Mental Health Services Division. In this role, you will partner with HR and operational leaders to attract top healthcare talent and support our growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, leveraging social media to engage talent, and supporting a fast-paced, purpose-driven healthcare environment.
About the Mental Health Services Division: Lifemark’s growing Mental Health Services division focuses on providing psychological care and behavioral health support across Canada.
The division complements Lifemark’s rehabilitation services by addressing the mental and emotional aspects of recovery and overall well-being.
Our multidisciplinary teams provide assessment, therapy, and rehabilitation services through licensed professionals including:
- Psychologists
- Psychotherapists
- Social Workers
- Clinical Counsellors
- Occupational Therapists specializing in mental health
As demand for mental health services continues to grow, this team plays an important role in expanding access to care across the country.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Healthcare Professional Sourcing
- Proactively source and build strong talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top clinical talent
- Identify innovative solutions to recruitment challenges and continuously improve sourcing practices
Operational Excellence
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, application reviews, candidate screening, and interviews
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and manage reference and background checks
- Track recruiting metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, HR policies, and industry standards
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a positive, engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Educate candidates about Lifemark’s culture, career opportunities, and benefits
- Represent Lifemark at career events and support employer brand initiatives
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, internal stakeholders, and candidates
- Present qualified candidates and gather feedback to refine sourcing strategies
- Partner with leadership to ensure a seamless and collaborative hiring process
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Healthcare recruitment experience and social media sourcing expertise are considered strong assets.
- Strong ability to build relationships and represent the organization as a brand ambassador
- Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- A solutions-focused mindset with resilience and adaptability
- A collaborative team player committed to service excellence
