About the role
Role : Python Developer/Engineer Duration: Contract – 12 months Location: Toronto – (Hybrid – 4 days)
Job Summary We are looking for a Python Developer with 5–10 years of experience to support development in the Quality Assurance (QA) space. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, experience working with Databricks and Azure, and exposure to QA or test automation.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python-based solutions to support QA processes. Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks. Work with Azure cloud services for development and deployment. Collaborate with QA and development teams to improve testing and automation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project deliverables.
Required Skills 5–10 years of software development experience. Strong programming experience in Python. Hands-on experience with Databricks. Experience working with Azure. Experience in the QA/Test Automation space or supporting QA teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with test automation frameworks. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
