About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Administrator, Workday Systems with 3+ years of Finance-focused experience in Workday configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and user support. SQL and API experience are required. Workday HCM/Procurement exposure and Power BI/Databricks interest are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Workday Production, Sandbox, and Preview Environments
  • Manage security, roles, access, data privacy, and audits
  • Configure and maintain business processes including general ledger, cost centers, financial reporting, and controls
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics
  • Support data loads, validation, and reconciliation
  • Support integrations between Workday and other systems
  • Support Workday troubleshooting, releases, testing, and system upgrades
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday administration experience in Finance;
  • Solid practical knowledge in Workday configuration, security, reporting, and API-based integrations
  • Strong documentation, analytical and communication skills
  • Intermediate SQL experience for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Workday certifications (Financial Management, Integrations, Procurement)
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or formal change management processes
  • Power BI or Databricks experience or strong interest

Decision Making and Supervision

  • Work under minimal supervision.
  • Make decisions and recommendations requiring analysis and interpretation within established procedures.

Working Conditions

  • Generally comfortable working conditions with lifting and onsite installations.
  • Moderate visual concentration in use of video display terminal.

The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP).
