As the construction supervisor in the Pomerleau Quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the work is in accordance with plans and specifications and that the client’s needs are met. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will have the opportunity to be a guarantor of the oversight mission for your discipline. By verifying that the work is in accordance with plans and specifications, as well as by managing and monitoring technical changes made during construction.

What you will do :

  • Communicate with the various stakeholders, in particular with the construction department to make the required site visits, audits and inspections.

  • Monitor the obligations of each party to the contract, as set out in the contractual documents.

  • Technical management and monitoring of modifications made during construction.

  • Perform required site and plant visits, audits and inspections as required.

  • Inspecting materials and products on site and verifying compliance with MVA.

  • Participate in the analysis of non-conformances, and is involved in the validation of the proposal, verification of the implementation of the action plans and closure.

  • Ensure the compilation of these records to facilitate the constitution of DOE and Quality Files.

  • Any other tasks allowing the QMS to be strictly monitored.

This role could be for you if you have :

  • Have a technical degree, combined with relevant experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in the discipline to which they are assigned.
  • Must be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Masters ACONEX, SharePoint and Project Wise software as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Have a good sense of work organization, identifying priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ability to build and maintain harmonious interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrate leadership
