About this role

You’ll join FDM as a Consultant within our Software Engineering Practice, where you’ll start your journey developing key skills in a practice-based learning environment for 6-12 weeks. You will then be able to start delivering projects for our clients across a wide range of industries. Client assignments could provide you with the opportunity to take on the role of Software Engineer, Quality Engineer, Cloud Developer and more. You'll have the chance to develop your career, whether linear or non-linear, as our Skills Lab offers numerous upskilling opportunities to enhance your abilities or explore new areas.

About You
What we look for
· Bachelor’s degree
· Ability to code in OOP languages, such as Java or C#.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure also welcome)
· Willingness to learn CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native development
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
· Commitment to work with FDM for a minimum of two years post-training
· Eligibility to work in Canada
Please note all client assignments require hybrid working in client offices in, but not limited to, Toronto and Montreal.
