About the role

Job Description This position will support District Leaders and stores in their use of UKG. This position will also aid stores and districts in utilizing UKG for optimal and efficient scheduling.

This position is responsible for analyzing schedule performance, forecast accuracy, and underlying assumptions, as well as historical trends, and making continuous adjustments and improvements to the forecasting and scheduling process to make sure both service levels and profitability goals are met.

This position is responsible for first tier UKG support for stores and districts- answering support calls, analyzing problems, providing remote assistance, and evaluating the best methods for resolution and escalation.

Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

  • Gather and analyze store user satisfaction and engagement metrics. Provide data driven insights and recommendations for improving user experience.
  • Performing store work analysis studies to identify areas of improvement in system or process and to identify potential metrics for efficient scheduling.
  • Review of metrics used in efficient scheduling. Make recommendations on adjusting metrics standards.
  • Present staffing analysis and financial impact to multiple levels of management.

Development & Deployment

  • Coordinate development, validation, and distribution of reporting required to manage store staffing.
  • Analyze and evaluate workforce metrics to improve capacity planning and maximize labor utilization rates.
  • Plan, create, communicate forecasts and schedules.

Operational Management & Optimization

  • Follow up with end-users and business stakeholders to ensure projects were implemented successfully.
  • Answer support calls from stores and field management. Analyze caller issues and resolve or escalate. Perform appropriate tracking and follow-up on all escalations.
  • Recommend staffing model modifications by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, monitoring variances, and identifying trends.

Incidental Functions

  • Occasional travel for research, training, and support of Kronos application(s) for retail locations and field management.

Qualifications Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience

Required

  • Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization.
  • Demonstrated use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Proven ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Ability to summarize, visualize, and present data
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Documented Written Communication Skills
  • In-depth Microsoft Excel skills, including experience in building formula driven workbook and working with pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

Preferred

  • SW Stores or internal audit experience
  • Analytics experience
  • UKG experience
  • Possess knowledge or relevant experience in forecasting, planning, and scheduling
  • Ability to facilitate process mapping activities and working knowledge of mapping techniques
  • Background in data mining and statistical analysis
