Position Overview:

Under the direction of the CIO, this position is responsible for overseeing all infrastructure of the university assisting the system and network administrator. The ideal candidate should be able to configure, maintain and monitor all active network and system solutions, help for the IT support and advice for the design and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help the IT Support team by solving some of the most complex cases (level 2).
  • Participate in the maintenance and improvement of different systems, including upgrades which can happen outside work hours.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize our internal infrastructure (Azure, Windows Server, Intune, O365).
  • Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments, including Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange and Teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues with various server related hardware, software and operating systems.
  • Participate to the network, system, workstation and security project integration.
  • Ensure the infrastructure performance meets appropriate service levels and that maintenance is performed on an ongoing basis to improve reliability and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related field experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud platforms Azure
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator, including Windows 2019, and 2022
  • Experience in Intune and software packaging
  • Medium knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell scripting
  • Medium knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Medium knowledge with managing and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience as a Linux System Administrator
  • Experience in MacOS administration
  • Knowledge of Fortigate Firewall, ESET Security and PRTG Monitoring
