Position Summary As a Technical GenAI Functional Manager at Deloitte, you will lead the functional delivery and operational excellence of generative AI solutions, bridging business needs and technical capabilities. Your focus will be on orchestrating the end-to-end lifecycle of GenAI products, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, technical standards, and user requirements.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Oversee the functional delivery of GenAI products, guiding teams through ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment to achieve business and technical goals.
• Manage and prioritize the feature backlog, collaborating with engineering, architecture, and security teams to ensure features are feasible, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), driving predictable and timely delivery of GenAI features and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into actionable technical specifications, ensuring functional needs and technical constraints are addressed in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Define and monitor functional KPIs and success metrics, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure the impact of GenAI solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform functional architecture decisions and guide the evolution of GenAI capabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, and architecture teams, ensuring clear communication of functional requirements, design decisions, and delivery timelines.
• Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback on GenAI features and performance, translating insights into functional improvements and product evolution.

You have experience working within a Centre of Excellence or similar collaborative environments leading tactical delivery efforts. Here’s what makes you an ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in functional management within the AI/Generative AI space.
• Strong understanding of GenAI technologies and their business applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Python, Angular, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and emerging Large Language Models (LLMs) is preferred.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive learner, staying current with GenAI trends and market developments.
• Customer-focused, with a talent for identifying and articulating functional needs and requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models.

Objectives:

• Drive the functional development and deployment of GenAI tools that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.

The base salary range for this position in Canada is $75,000 - $118,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
