Description
DV8 Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support our in-house hardware production. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, test, and validate industrial IoT hardware, ensuring each unit meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and field readiness. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of assembly and testing processes. This role is ideal for someone with electronics assembly experience who enjoys building and improving hardware in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your Background
3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly or industrial hardware manufacturing, including PCB assembly, PLC control cabinets, wiring, enclosures, and mechanical components Skilled in testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality control, with experience following technical work instructions and documenting results Preferred experience with industrial equipment, IIoT/edge devices, or test equipment, combined with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
Assemble electronic devices, including PCB integration, wiring harnesses, enclosures, and mechanical components Follow and refine work instructions and assembly procedures Perform functional testing, calibration, and burn-in testing of hardware units Record, document, and report test results accurately Diagnose and repair electrical faults and assembly defects Support engineering in debugging prototypes and design iterations Conduct inspections of incoming components and finished products Ensure all builds meet DV8 quality standards Provide feedback on assembly efficiency and design issues affecting manufacturability Contribute to continuous improvement of build processes over time

Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field; equivalent of education and hands-on experience may be considered 3+ years of experience in electronics assembly or industrial hardware manufacturing, including PCB assembly, wiring harnesses, enclosures, and mechanical components
