Agilus is recruiting for several Causal Banquet Servers in the Hospitality industry in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’re looking for friendly, reliable Banquet Servers to join our on-call team. Work exciting events when it suits you — no fixed hours, just rewarding shifts that fit your life. Bring your positive attitude and excellent service skills to help us deliver top-notch hospitality.
You Will
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, linens, and decorations
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, following event schedules
- Clear plates and clean tables efficiently to maintain a tidy environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Adapt to different event types and guest needs with a positive attitude
- Need to have white/black dress shirt and black dress pants
Successful Candidates Will Have
- 2 + years of previous serving experience
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, walk and lift for extended periods of time
- Clear Criminal Background
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours, including evenings and weekends
