The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. This role is central to keeping operations running smoothly by managing correspondence, scheduling, meeting preparation, and maintaining accurate records.
Description of position:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations for the Executive Director.
- Organize Board and committee packages, record meeting minutes, and track follow-ups.
- Manage calendars, emails, and calls, and coordinate travel and logistics.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and organizational records.
- Support organizational events and liaise with IT provider as needed. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a related role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
- Experience supporting Boards of Directors is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
Position Details
- Part-time, 28 hours per week (remote).
- Hourly rate: $25.99 – $30.32.
- Be available for occasional in-person meetings or events when required. Travel expenses, including mileage or other approved transportation costs, will be reimbursed in accordance with ABLE2’s travel policy. Accommodation and accessible transportation needs will be supported.
- While this position is remote, candidates must reside within ABLE2’s catchment area: Ottawa, Prescott, Russell, Glengarry, Stormont, and Dundas
