Job Description:

Reporting to the Chair, the incumbent is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all facets of the curriculum update process for multiple programs within the Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence (ACCE). The incumbent provides impact analyses of changes to the Chair and program coordinators, and follows through with College departments to confirm the validity of the information. The incumbent is responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of faculty workloads, course loading, timetabling and registration data. The incumbent is also responsible for the initiation and termination of part-time contracts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree in Business Administration or equivalent;

  • Minimum two (2) years of practical experience working with students and/or student registration;

  • Experience must include working with a student information system in a post-secondary education environment. Expert level knowledge of curriculum delivery, student registration and program progression are required.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel at the intermediate level. Relevant experience in a client centered environment and experience with database management and/or appropriate application software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access;

  • Experience with Workday is a strong asset;

  • Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and professional;

  • Ability to respect confidentiality;

  • Proven experience in a client focused working environment;

  • Effective communication skills (oral and written);

  • Ability to work independently as well as with team members.
