About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organized Junior Scrum Master / PMO Coordinator to support Agile delivery teams and project management activities. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Scrum ceremonies, Agile principles, and project coordination. This role will work closely with senior Scrum Masters, assist in Agile team execution, and perform administrative and operational project management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Scrum Support Assist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews Sprint Retrospectives Backlog Refinement Sessions Shadow and support Senior Scrum Masters in Agile delivery activities. Track sprint progress, action items, dependencies, and risks. Maintain Agile boards and project tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Project Coordination & Administration
Prepare and distribute Meeting Minutes (MoM) and track action items. Maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards. Manage team holiday calendars, leave schedules, and resource availability. Support project budget tracking and reporting activities. Coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications. Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies). Assist in project governance and compliance reporting.
Requirements
Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in Scrum, Agile Coordination, Project Coordination, PMO, or a related role. Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework. Experience supporting Scrum ceremonies and Agile teams. Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Experience creating meeting minutes, status reports, and tracking project activities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM-I, or equivalent. Experience working with software development or technology teams. Basic knowledge of budgeting, resource planning, and project governance.
Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000 CAD/ year The final compensation offered will depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and education/training. Compensation may also include additional components such as benefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
