About the role
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
- Instructing in a grade 2 general classroom Duties are to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in Elementary would be considered an asset
- Strong understanding and experience with literacy, numeracy and language skills
- Experience creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
- Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
