Job description

Urgent volunteer opportunity for August 8

VoxHaven is looking for a French-English bilingual volunteer to support our booth at Fierté Montréal Community Days.

VoxHaven is an LGBTQ+ community platform that helps people connect online and through local community experiences and events.

What you’ll help with

Welcome visitors to the VoxHaven booth

Briefly explain the VoxHaven platform and upcoming events Answer basic questions in French and English Help visitors scan our QR codes and join the community Support the general booth setup and visitor experience

What we’re looking for

Comfortable speaking French and English

Friendly, reliable and comfortable approaching people Supportive of the LGBTQ+ community Available for at least a few hours on August 7 or 8 No previous event experience required

Event details

📅 Saturday, August 8 🕚 Community Days run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 📍 Montréal Village ⏱️ Flexible shifts available, including a few hours or a full day

This is a volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will receive a free ticket to VoxHaven’s next LGBTQ+ Speed Friending event on August 30. Additional compensation can be discussed for longer or full-day availability.
