What the job involves
- KOHO is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive in-quarter and long-term business growth by empowering data-driven decision-making and uncovering strategic opportunities to grow company-wide business outcomes
- As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in query optimization, advanced data modelling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful insights that directly influence business strategy
- Own large data domain(s): integrating data requirements into project planning, collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, building pipelines and dashboards, coordinate with other data team members on team projects and preserving our data warehouse as the source of truth at KOHO
- Design and optimize data models with a strong focus on performance, leveraging advanced DBT features independently
- Develop dashboards that go beyond visualization to answer critical business questions and support strategic decision-making
- Proactively identify trends and opportunities through deep data analysis, thinking beyond immediate requests to uncover additional relevant insights
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, offering data-driven recommendations that align with business priorities and maximize impact
- Autonomously own project planning and participate in cross functional domain ownership
- Mentor team members and contribute to establishing best practices within the data organization
