Volunteer Roles: Friendly Visiting: Description: Spend time with patients and residents to offer companionship and support. Activities may include conversation, reading, games, puzzles, and meal-time assistance. Library Cart: Description: Visit nursing units to provide patients and residents with reading material. Occupational Therapy: Description: Assist occupational therapy staff and patients during classes and select patient activities. Physiotherapy: Description: Engage with physiotherapy staff and patients through participation in various activities, including patient classes. Therapeutic Recreation: Description: Aid in organizing and facilitating leisure and recreational activities such as community outings, musical events, movie nights, bingo, dancing, and seasonal events. Music/Entertainment: Description: Share your musical talents by providing entertainment to residents and patients.
