About The Role The Sales Coordinator, Exports is responsible for the processing and logistical needs of export customer demands.

What You Will Be Doing

• Create sales orders according to customer purchase order details and create Proformas for payment
• Prepare and process all necessary export documents, including invoices, declarations, and certificates, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements. Ensure all export transactions comply with international trade laws and customs regulations.
• Facilitate CFIA approvals on required export documents. Communicates clearly, timely and effectively with overseas offices, agents, customs brokers, customers and domestic vendors.
• Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing.
• Coordinate with both production and shipping departments and drivers/shunters, the loading of containers in alignment with scheduling and export timelines.
• Coordinate export inventory levels with Sales, reviewing risk to order fill and/or surplus of inventory.
• Maintain/Update export directives from CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency).
• Prepare and submit Canadian Export Reporting (CERS).
• Other duties as assigned – Must be able to support the invoicing team with day-to-day functions, assist when experiencing higher demand or staff shortages (e.g., due to absences, vacations, or peak workloads).
• Manage pallet returns and issues from CHEP to the Distribution Centre.
• Drive to CFIA offices in a MLF vehicle to submit export documents for approval.

What You Will Bring

• 3 years of experience in export logistics.
• Knowledge of Ocean freight operation, documentation, products, operations, security, Customs regulations and Government laws/regulations and equipment that are required to fulfill export demands.
• Working knowledge of food and meat regulatory standards (CFIA).
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail (accuracy).
• General computer skills (MS Office) and ERP skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record.
