Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with Ethnic retail accounts across Canada. This role focuses on driving business growth, developing tailored marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Ethnic Foods industry, be fluent in Mandarin, and possess exceptional relationship management and strategic planning skills. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a diverse product portfolio in a competitive market.
Responsibilities

Manage and expand relationships with Ethnic retail accounts across Canada.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key Ethnic retail accounts.

Responsible for day-to-day interaction with assigned customer contacts.

Collaborate with National Account Managers to develop and manage the Ethnic category within national accounts.

Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing plans for key Ethnic retail customers to achieve sales objectives.

Implement strategic marketing plans with key customers to achieve retail sales objectives for products.

Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
-
Generate weekly and monthly reports to evaluate business performance.
-
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
-
Attend seafood industry events or any other business-related events when required.
-
Evaluate inventory level forecast to ensure current demand is reflected.

Identify new product offerings and/or company initiatives and work closely with the Product Development team to develop new and innovative products.

Evaluate market information and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Monitor and report information on competitor products, sales and marketing activities.

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills
-
5+ years of progressive account management experience within the Ethnic Foods industry.

Fluent in Mandarin.

Experience building long-term business plans.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, organized, self-motivated and have a proven track record of sales and negotiating skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The annual base salary for this role is expected to fall between $80,000 and $130,000.
