Overview of the Position
The Technical Project Manager plays a key role within the team, leading projects to success by coordinating all stakeholders.
You will be responsible for managing projects in an innovative and highly regulated environment (medical, neuroimaging). Your responsibilities include proposing technical solutions tailored to client needs, managing technical teams within the scope of projects, and coordinating and monitoring project progress to ensure success.
Your role will directly contribute to improving patients’ quality of life by facilitating the deployment of our clinically validated tools.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and Planning
- Assess needs, define objectives, create execution plans and schedules for technical projects.
- Establish a project budget and ensure follow-up.
- Be responsible for overall planning, implementation, and delivery of project outcomes.
Resource Management
- Coordinate resource needs for each project in collaboration with the project management team, considering company priorities.
- Lead the teams involved in the project, providing clear direction and support.
- Actively participate in executing certain sections or tasks of technical projects.
- Develop a clear project charter and continuously communicate milestones with the team.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track project progress, identify risks (resources, deadlines, technical requirements), and manage costs.
- Ensure evaluation and reporting of projects with the internal team and management.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Ensure close collaboration with various teams (technical, quality, regulatory, management, customer service).
Quality Control and Compliance
- Actively participate in the quality process and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards across all projects.
- Be sensitive to data protection and confidentiality issues in the medical field.
Continuous Improvement
- Actively participate in the establishment and improvement of project management processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation related to projects.
Education and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in software development, administration (project management or technology concentration), or business technology management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management in a similar or related industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Positive, unifying leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, highly motivated to work on complex and simultaneous projects.
- Very adaptable and comfortable communicating with various profiles (technical, scientific, sales, customer service).
- Excellent knowledge of Python and at least one compiled programming language.
- Knowledge of computing cluster systems under Linux, Bash, Kubernetes with Rancher and Docker, and cloud computing with AWS.
- Bilingual French/English, professional level (our clients are mainly in the United States).
Assets
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile/Scrum, etc.).
- Knowledge and skills in diffusion imaging and/or medical imaging.
- Knowledge and skills in Rust programming language.
- Experience in Front-End development.
- Experience in the medical technology, technology, or regulated industries.
- Mastery of various project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
