About the role
As the Navigator, the Senior Project Manager charts the course from concept to completion. You own the details others miss — contracts, consultants, costs, schedules — and steer projects through complexity without losing sight of the destination. You are not buried in spreadsheets; you use them as a compass to guide bold decisions. You thrive in the tension between vision and execution, and you keep the ship steady no matter how rough the waters get. You thrive in the details ensuring that everyone owns their part in the project and you drive communication between the field and the office to ensure everyone stays informed.
What You’ll Own
- Project Leadership (Ownership): Drive delivery of large-scale multifamily and mixed-use projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
- Consultant & Design Team Oversight (Collaboration): Manage architects, engineers, and third-party consultants, ensuring designs align with budgets and construction realities.
- Budget & Forecast Discipline (Create Value): Own the numbers. Track costs, control change orders, and ensure financial accuracy in every report.
- Schedule Mastery (Ingenuity): Develop and manage master project schedules. Anticipate bottlenecks, implement recovery strategies, and hold all parties accountable.
- Contract & Risk Management (Trust): Negotiate, execute, and enforce contracts with GCs, trades, and consultants. Proactively identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
- Executive Communication (Boldness): Report directly to senior leadership with clarity, candor, and confidence — no fluff, just facts and solutions. Act as the translator between the field and the office to ensure overall alignment.
- Cross-Functional Alignment (Collaboration): Partner with development, construction, and operations teams to ensure a seamless handoff from concept through lease-up.
- Team Leadership(Trust):Guide and lead your team to high performance execution through clear communication, setting clear expectations, empowering a solution driven mindset and a drive for results.
