LandSure Systems Ltd. (LandSure) is looking to hire a temporary full-time Product Marketing Specialist (1 year term) to join our Products division!
Who we are: LandSure is a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.

What you'll do: Reporting to the Director, Business Solutions, the Product Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in positioning and launching products successfully. Acting as the bridge between product development, marketing, and customers, the Product Marketing Specialist ensures products are effectively communicated to the right audiences by helping identify and refine target markets, understanding customer needs, and aligning messaging with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Develop positioning, messaging, and strategies that resonate with customers and enable sales/service teams to execute the go-to-market strategy.
- Build user and partner personas and map customer journeys to drive adoption and engagement.
- Collaborate with Communications to execute on campaigns to effectively reach/teach target audiences and increase product adoption and usage
- Develop collateral and sales enablement tools that highlight product features and benefits across multiple channels
- Support Product Teams in analyzing customer research activities as they relate to business needs and opportunities to distill insights and shape product messaging, which will continue to deliver value to our customers
- Identify targets (customer personas) and their respective roles and support Product Teams in conducting competitive research/analysis regarding the positioning, messaging and branding of competitive, complementary and adjacent solutions
- Externally, establish and nurture targeted customer and industry relationships and networks, acting as a champion for our offerings and the problems they solve
- Plan and execute a cohesive content calendar aligned with business goals and objectives.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or another relevant field with 5+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered.
- Proven experience defining product positioning, messaging and customer stories
- Experience developing go-to-market plans and mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver messaging
- Experience with conducting market and customer research, including knowledge of customer behavior sciences and identification of market trends
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to deeply understand the value proposition of a product and effectively translate complex and technical product strategies and capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences
- Excellent knowledge of technical communication best practices and techniques including strong writing and editing capability with excellent attention to detail with the ability to present complex ideas in an accessible way.
- Experience managing campaigns and go-to-market projects; exceptional ROI-tracking and data analysis skills to prove what is—or isn’t—working and adapt plans as appropriate
- Forward thinking self-starter with good business acumen, strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage and work effective with internal teams, external stakeholders
- Skilled in and proficient with CRM software, marketing automation, and productivity applications and research tools; power user of social media and networking tools
- Skilled in interpreting performance metrics to inform and optimize content strategies
- Knowledge of business and technology solutions in the public sector is an asset.
We are dedicated to transparency in our hiring process. $83,000 - $103,800 annually, reflects a reasonable expectation for pay for the position depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation is specific to the role within our organization and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
