As the Facilities & Workplace Experience Specialist you partner with the business to provide an exceptional workplace experience, providing solutions-focused service to our teams and our guests. You partner with all functions of the facilities team, providing support where necessary, while continuously identifying areas of opportunity for growth and evolution in the way we work.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed on-location.

The Facilities & Workplace Experience team operates in strategic partnership with the business to ensure an industry leading employee and guest experience. Through continuous evolution of our physical working model and a dedication to service, you will be part of a team who provides a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment to employees and guests.
If you were the Facilities & Workplace Experience Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

- Being an ambassador of the Facilities & Workplace Experience Team, ensuring all employees have a comfortable and functional workspace that supports them in doing their job
- Maintaining vendor and contractor relationships to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of our office facilities
- Responding quickly and efficiently to all requests, ensuring they are delivered with timely and quality service
- Assisting with planning, coordinating, scheduling, communicating and overseeing facilities maintenance and projects
- Developing effective working relationships across the business units, partners and stakeholders
- Identifying strategies and plans to improve effectiveness and productivity of operations and workplace quality
- Conducting overviews and reacting accordingly to address the needs of the workplace, including furniture needs, office and kitchen supplies
- Supporting in-office events set-ups, tear downs, scheduling, catering, etc
- Seeking areas of opportunity around the workplace with a goal of making it a better place to work
- Leading joint health & safety efforts to ensure compliance and a safe workplace
- Supporting other office projects, tasks and duties as needed

- You are social, outgoing and eager to build relationships with our teams and our guests

- You have the ability to consistently evaluate and evolve existing processes
- You have a highly collaborative working style and have proven ability to build cross-functional relationships
- You have strong verbal and written English communication skills
- You embrace and adapt to using various technology platforms.
- You have the ability to prioritize and multitask when necessary.
- You are a proactive self starter
- You have vendor management skills
- You have the ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

$61,000 - $76,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$61,000 - CAD$76,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
