Northbay- Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Sword are now hiring for Mobile Patrol Security Officer for our North Bay location.

Key Responsibilities:

General patrol and static guard services – conducting interior, exterior patrols of properties and premises. Closing of properties, ensuring proper lockup protocol is followed.

Asset protection – on-site for 8 hour shifts often standing or patrolling a specific area or setup boundary.

Event security – small to large scale events, crowd management, smart serve certification required.
-
Access control – confirming entry to sites, checking id, bags, and persons. Controlling entry and access to premises, operating gate, guard house management.

Report writing experience considered an asset.

Assist in Security Execution operations, coordinate and respond to all site-based emergencies, organize, and conduct medical transport as required.

Maintaining compliance of all security processes and procedures
-
Main Duties: Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot), Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws, Deterring and responding to incidents on the property, Responding to various types of emergencies, Lockups/unlocks and alarm responses, Vehicle Inspection Reports, Daily Occurrence Reports and Incident reports, and/or other duties as assigned
Key requirements:

A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence is required along with first aid and CPR;

Holds a valid Ontario G driver license with a clean driver’s abstract;

Must be available to work evening, overnights, and weekends;
-
Must have access to reliable vehicle for travel to and from work;

A minimum of 1 year’s security experience in winter driving;
-
Outstanding communication skills

Ability to work and be on your feet for up to 10 hours

Adaptable to learn new tasks quickly on the job

Professional demeanour and customer service focused

Experience with using technology based systems
Job type: Part-time
Salary: $19.00 per hour
