We are currently seeking aCloud Platforms Managerto join our team inToronto, ON (remote).

Overview

Leads and is accountable for the design, delivery, and operational excellence of Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, Office 365, and Cloud Platform services. Serves as the senior technical authority across Intune / Endpoint Manager, Azure and Entra ID, device lifecycle management, and platform reliability. Partners closely with Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to ensure stable, scalable, and secure production services aligned to enterprise standards and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational excellence for all managed cloud and End User Computing (EUC) services, including incident, problem, and change management practices. Ensure effective change risk identification, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement to maintain platform reliability and service stability.
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex operational, project, and IT security issues, coordinating resolution across engineering, security, and architecture teams as required.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and analysts; raise the overall technical bar through coaching, guidance, and hands-on support. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Architecture teams to design and implement zero-trust principles, device compliance strategies, and secure-by-default configurations across the Modern Workplace and Cloud platforms.
  • Partner with IT Security and key stakeholders to identify, review, and remediate environmental risks and optimization opportunities, including proactive use of tools such as Azure Advisor.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving modernization, platform reliability, and adoption of design and operational best practices.
  • Serve as Technical Lead on projects, providing hands-on technical guidance, architectural oversight, and coordination between project managers, engineers, stakeholders, and dependent teams.
  • Drive the creation, maintenance, and adoption of standard processes, self-service capabilities, and automation to improve scalability, consistency, and efficiency of service delivery.
  • Act as the technical liaison between leadership and EUC, Cloud Platform, and Productivity Services teams, translating strategy into actionable technical execution.
  • Hold engineers accountable to role expectations, technical standards, and operational responsibilities, ensuring high-quality outcomes and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in Modern Workplace / Endpoint / EUC engineering/Azure, including 3–5+ years in technical leadership for production services.

  • Deep knowledge of Entra ID and Conditional Access, Zero Trust device access patterns, and integration with endpoint security tooling.

  • Strong ITSM background (Incident/Problem/Change), CAB governance, change risk assessment, and RCA/postmortem leadership.

  • Demonstrated SRE mindset: monitoring/alerting, reliability improvements, and automation-driven operational excellence.

  • Azure platform operational experience (governance, RBAC, policy, monitoring, reliability).

  • Certifications preferred: ITIL 4; MD-102; SC-300; AZ-104/AZ-305; AZ-500/SC-100 (as applicable).

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is**$65 to $74 CAD**. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
