Role Description

We are seeking a Certified Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site position at our Sundre, AB location. The role involves providing high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up under the supervision of physicians. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to health promotion and preventative health initiatives, and participate in patient education. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and staying updated on best practices in family medicine.

Qualifications

Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Ability to develop, implement, and monitor care plans, leveraging evidence-based practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to health promotion, preventative care, and patient education Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical documentation and using healthcare management systems Canadian Certified Physician Assistant or c-PA and eligibility for relevant provincial registration/licensure manditory Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment Experience in rural healthcare settings is an asset
