About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to fill a combined Driver / Warehouse Worker position. This role will involve both driving duties and warehouse responsibilities. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering our products to customers in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. As a Warehouse Worker, you will assist with various warehouse tasks such as receiving, stocking, and shipping products.
Shift Timings: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $24/hr to $26/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Pick or receive products accurately in warehouse bins
- Effectively plan a delivery route and load orders onto truck
- Provide and maintain exceptional service levels to customers
- Help in the warehouse with receiving and cleaning tasks as required
- Utilize an industrial forklift, order picker
- Dangerous goods handling and forklift training will be provided (previous experience is an asset)
Requirements:
- Plan and organize routes effectively; clear communication is a must
- Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kg
- Must hold valid Class 5 driver's license with air endorsement and provide driver's abstract
- Must be customer service orientated and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
