A day in the life…
A day in the life of a Payroll Administrator at Jim Pattison Auto Group is a whirlwind of precision and support. You begin by promptly assisting staff with payroll inquiries before diving into the meticulous preparation, submission, and reconciliation of various remittances. Processing payroll payments and deductions with accuracy and timeliness is key, alongside updating profiles and investigating discrepancies using the Ceridian Dayforce Platform. Amidst evolving regulations, you stay up-to-date while providing essential support to the Manager, Payroll Operations.
What we look for…
- A minimum of 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience is required.
- A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is required.
- Dealership experience considered an asset.
- Ceridian Dayforce experience considered an asset.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills with positive and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality.
- Extremely dependable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with staff.
